Hello everyone!!

Finally, we were able to translate the full game into Portuguese!

We've also added a small detail in both the Portuguese and English version: all characters are beepy voiced!

We were recently given the option of hiring someone to voice the characters, but the major requirement for us would be fluency in both Portuguese, English, and Cape Verdean Creole. As this game is a letter of love to our Cape Verdean community, we decided it didn't sit us well to hire a non-local actor. Besides, even if we did, it would be hard to master the accent we had envisioned. We thought about the possibility of having different voice actors for each language, but quickly dismissed the idea as it seemed too much inconsistent.

But then, one of our members suggested to use beepy voices instead.

We opted to go this approach because it's still a fun method of extending the characters' personalities and it would solve our major issue with the voice question.

We don't close the possibility of one day using real voices, but for now, we're comfortable with the game how it is.
